If your company or organisation is planning a Church Service
to mark a special occasion, whether it be a formal
occasion or a less formal service such as a Christmas Carol Service, it may be
good idea to have a choir to lead the singing.
The Cantabile Ensemble can help.
The Cantabile Ensemble
is a group of local musicians specialising in Church Music who, between them,
have many years of experience in providing music of a high standard in local
churches, cathedrals, and for special occasions. We will not accept your booking
unless we are confident that we have sufficient musicians available to meet your
musical requirements.
You may have a clear idea of what music you require but, if
not, we are
always pleased to advise on suitable choices of hymns and tunes
if required to do so.
The Cantabile Ensemble can also recommend suitable Organists
for your service if required.
Typically, a separate fee is payable for the organist - either your own or one
provided by your church. Please note that
organists tend to be of various standards and
have different repertoires. This should be considered when selecting your music
and we are always pleased to advise.
The Cantabile Ensemble
can sing anthems before and during the service. We offer a varied repertoire including music
suitable for every part of the service and for all seasons of
the Church Year. We are also happy to consider special
requests, subject to the availability of suitable music and musicians.

additional music or items not included in our music list will be provided on
request. Fees
for Organists and soloists are negotiated separately.
Please note that
we reserve the right to charge an additional fee in respect of the performing
rights of The Cantabile Ensemble, or any other musicians booked through us, if
an audio or video recording is made of your service. Performing rights
fees due to other parties are the responsibility of the entity making the
booking.
