The
Cantabile Ensemble is committed to supporting
Church music in the Island of Jersey
ecumenically, particularly in those places where
there is none, or where resources are limited.
An
important aim of the Friends of The Cantabile
Ensemble is to bring together those with a
shared interest in Church music, regardless of
denomination.
Friends of the choir support and promote our
work by attending services and concerts,
publicising events and providing practical and
financial assistance with a suggested minimum
annual subscription of £15.
The
choir has charitable status and is self-funding,
with most of its revenue coming from either its
members or from occasional weddings. As a
charitable organisation, it can reclaim the tax
on donations to the choir of £100 or more from
taxpayers in
Jersey.
