Our Director of Music
Andrew Radley
Andrew took over as Musical Director of the Cantabile ensemble in January 2012. Andrew has 16 years experience of directing choirs. He was previously the Organ Scholar at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and then at Corpus-Christi-College, Oxford, where he was responsible for all aspects of chapel music and during which time he led those choirs on tours to Paris, Rome and Dublin. Since moving to Jersey in 2004, Andrew has been Organist and Director of music at St. Saviour's parish church, and was Master of the Choristers and deputy Director of Music at St. Helier Town Church.

Stephen Kemp
Stephen has been involved with singing since joining his local church choir at the age of 7 and has subsequently sung in and conducted various choral groups. When a music scholar at Worksop College he studied piano, violin, singing and organ. After moving to Jersey in 2002, Stephen formed Cantique which he directed for 5 years.
Our Founder
The Revd. Nick Freeland.
Nick founded The Cantabile Ensemble in 2004 and directed it until the end of 2011. He has over 20 years experience as a choir director and conductor having formerly been Director of Music at Holy Trinity Church, Forest Row, St. Saviour's Parish Church, Jersey and St. Mark's Church in Jersey. During that time he has conducted a wide repertoire of music from plainsong to oratorio, mediƦval music to new commissions, and has worked with choristers of all ages and abilities. He has regularly led groups from all of those churches to sing on occasional Cathedral tours, and was Chairman of the Jersey Area of the RSCM for several years. He is a Senior Fellow of the North and Midlands School of Music.
